Waste Service Success For Both Pulman Group and South Shields FC

Waste Service Success For Both Pulman Group and South Shields FC

The Pulman Group alongside South Shields FC have successfully changed their waste disposal contracts to family owned, Northeast based business NWH Group. The three were together at the South Shields Business Club networking event where they formed their relationships and new contracts.

The NWH Group provides waste recycling and management services across the Northeast to a variety of businesses providing waste bins, recycling services, waste collection and assisting organisations with their sustainability goals. They also provide support to help businesses navigate legislation changes within waste disposal.

When Graeme Dixon, Account Manager at the NWH Group, was asked about the type of businesses they want to work with, he stated “We want to work with companies who have sustainability objectives they want to achieve, people who are ambitious and they need and want the support of experts like us. Because we offer a 360 service, we really can work with the smallest type of business up to large corporate organisations.”

South Shields FC’s journey to switching their supplier began when Graeme, started conversations with South Shields FC Director Carl Mowatt. Carl was extremely impressed with the aftersales service and sponsorship they offered the club.

When asked about why he recommended the NWH Group’s services to Pulman Group, Carl stated “After our positive experience with the switch to NWH we were happy to recommend their services to our sponsor Pulman Group. We were really impressed by their friendliness and aftersales care service they provided us with.”

Once South Shields FC had begun their journey with the NWH Group, Pulman Group’s Commercial Director Chris Slater was introduced to the NWH Group through South Shields FC’s networking event, ‘Business Club’.

The Business Club’s aims are to grow the event and its members as well as develop even more meaningful connections between businesses in the Northeast and this is certainly true for Pulman Group and the NWH Group’s relationship.

Pulman Group saw the fantastic opportunity to work with a company highly recommended by South Shields FC and to solidify the existing partnership further.

Pulman Group found the switch to the NWH Group extremely easy and simple once the business requirements were discussed. Their nature as a family business, locality and friendly sealed the deal for Pulman Group as they encompass the same corporate values.

When Chris Slater was asked about the impact of the South Shields FC Business Club and its impact on the partnership network for Pulman he said “The opportunities presented at the business club are fundamental. Without it we wouldn’t have been able to make the connection with Graeme from NWH and the relationship between all three parties would never have developed or thrived.
