NWH Group Partners with Volvo to Pioneer Sustainable Waste Management with State-of-the-Art Electric HGV Skip Vehicle 

We a leading provider of waste management and environmental services, proudly announce our ground-breaking partnership with Volvo to trial the new era of sustainable waste transportation. Together, we are set to revolutionise the industry by introducing the cutting-edge Volvo FE Electric HGV skip vehicle, showcasing a profound commitment to carbon reduction and environmental stewardship. 

The truck on trial at the NWH Group is the Volvo FE Electric, a remarkable electric heavy goods vehicle (HGV) that combines cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious design. The Volvo FE Electric is equipped with Multilift skiploader bodywork and powered by two electric motors that deliver a peak torque of 850 Nm.

The NWH Group is committed to driving the transition to a cleaner, greener future. In addition to the Volvo FE Electric trial, the company has an electric articulated vehicle on order, set to be delivered in 2023. This new addition to their fleet will enable efficient waste transportation with zero emissions, aligning perfectly with their sustainability goals. 

As part of our comprehensive sustainability strategy, we successfully completed the transition of all sales team company cars to electric cars in 2022. This transition underscores our dedication to minimising our carbon footprint and actively participating in the global effort to combat climate change.
