Empowering the Next Generation: Michelle Hagen and Michelle Lindsay Lead the Way as Mentors through the MCR Pathways

At the NWH Group, we believe in making a difference not only in business but also in the communities we serve. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Michelle Hagen and Michelle Lindsay have volunteered to become mentors, a role that is both inspiring and impactful, through the MCR Pathways, a nationwide mentorship programme.

Mentorship for Growth

Both Michelle Hagen and Michelle Lindsay were selected for their outstanding qualities as role models and their desire to give back. Their roles as mentors allow them to connect with young individuals, sharing wisdom and guidance on life’s challenges and career paths.

Michelle Hagen: Making Connections at Bannockburn High School

Michelle Hagen is mentoring at the Bannockburn High School in Stirling. She meets weekly with her mentee, dedicating an hour to discuss everything from academic pressures to personal concerns. Her goal is to help the young person feel valued and supported, fostering a sense of confidence and direction.

Michelle explains, "It's about offering someone to talk to, someone who listens and guides them through difficult times. It's crucial for young people to know they are not alone, especially when it comes to navigating school and future opportunities."

Michelle Lindsay: Training to Inspire Through MCR Pathways

Michelle Lindsay has joined the MCR Pathways initiative, where she is waiting to be matched with a young person from a South Lanarkshire school. Her commitment includes weekly one-hour sessions where she listens, encourages, and provides guidance, aiming to inspire the young person she mentors to dream big and reach their full potential.

"I look forward to helping someone realise their capabilities," says Michelle. "It’s an opportunity to provide encouragement and show that no challenge is too big when you have support behind you."

Building a Legacy of Support

The mentorship initiative aligns with NWH Group’s commitment to community development, and it is part of a larger effort to offer support, guidance, and a listening ear to young people across various regions. Both Michelle Hagen and Michelle Lindsay are excited to make a lasting impact, one hour at a time, empowering the next generation to succeed.
