Community Fund Application

In a bid to bolster our commitment to local communities, we are excited to announce the re-launch of our initiative, which was first launched in 2016 aimed at supporting private community-led charities within the geographies in which we operate. With a dedicated annual fund of £21,000, we aim empower organisations to sustain their vital activities within the communities in which they serve.

The initiative, set to recommence immediately, will operate on a transparent and inclusive application-based process. Charities aligned with our core pillars of support will be eligible to apply for funding.

These pillars encompass:

  • Recycling Education in Young People: Encouraging and facilitating environmental awareness and sustainable practices among the youth.
  • Mental Wellbeing: Promoting mental health initiatives and supporting programs that foster emotional resilience and wellbeing.
  • Carbon Reduction: Investing in initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprint.


Terms & Condidtions

These terms and conditions outline the guidelines and criteria for the allocation of funds from the Community Fund Initiative by the NWH Group community fund Committee. The Committee is responsible for evaluating applications and determining the distribution of funds to local charities supporting key pillars including Recycling Education in Young People, Mental Wellbeing, Carbon Reduction, and Talent Growth.


Application Criteria

Eligible charities must be local and uninvested organisations supporting at least one of the following pillars:

  • Recycling Education in Young People
  • Mental Wellbeing
  • Carbon Reduction
  • Talent Growth


Application Process

Applications will close on the 18th November 2024 for the 3rd and final round for 2024. Charities must submit their applications through the designated platform provided by NWH.The application must include detailed information about the charity, its objectives, how the funds will be utilised, and the impact it aims to achieve within the specified pillars. All applications will be reviewed by the Committee, and decisions will be made based on the alignment with the fund's objectives and the demonstrated need for support.


Decision Making

The Committee will evaluate each application based on the specified criteria and may request additional information if necessary. Decisions will be made collectively by the Committee members. The Committee's decisions are final and not subject to appeal. The results will be announced within a few days, after the applications have closed, and will be announced on the company's website and official social media accounts. The winners will be directly contacted with all the details of the fund allocation.


Reporting and Accountability

NWH reserves the right to conduct site visits or request additional information to ensure accountability and transparency in fund utilisation.


Amendments

NWH reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all relevant parties. By applying for funding from the Community Fund Initiative, charities agree to abide by these terms and conditions. NWH is committed to supporting initiatives that positively impact the community and promote sustainable development across the specified pillars.
