Regional Service Delivery Manager

Job Specification: Regional Service Delivery Manager 

Location: Glasgow, Dumfries, and Dundee 
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + £500/month car allowance + attractive manager bonus structure 
Reports to: General Manager

With a focus on profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable practices, you’ll oversee regional service delivery across our trade waste, skips, and hooks operations.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the transport team to optimise vehicle activity and maximise efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance department to manage vehicle maintenance programmes. 

  • Stay ahead of transport legislation, ensuring compliance and adapting policies as required. 

  • Monitor vehicle performance metrics such as fuel efficiency and tyre wear. 

  • Oversee site Health & Safety compliance and enforce company policies. 

  • Lead change initiatives across Glasgow and the region to enhance service delivery. 

  • Supervise, mentor, and appraise direct reports, ensuring team engagement and development. 

  • Manage site financial performance, including P&L accountability for relevant sectors. 

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Transport Manager CPC (or currently studying) 

  • Strong knowledge of road transport legislation and compliance 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude 

  • Desirable Qualifications: 

  • Class 2 or Class 1 licence 

  • Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent) 

  • SAFED training and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
