HGV Driver - Class 2 Skip and Hook

Role: Class 2 HGV Driver – Skip & Hook​

Location: Glasgow

Hours: 40-50 hours per week with overtime options available​

Rate of Pay: £14.04 per hour​

Overtime Rate of Pay: £21.06 per hour (paid after 8 hours or on unscheduled working days)​

What Will You Be Doing?

As an HGV Driver in our Skip & Hook division, your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting and delivering skips and hook containers to and from various customer sites.​

• Operating your vehicle safely and efficiently on pre-planned routes.​

• Delivering outstanding customer service, acting as the face of NWH to our clients.​

• Working independently while being part of a supportive, high-performing team.​

What Are We Looking For?

• A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence held for at least 12 months.​

• Valid CPC entitlement and Digital Tachograph card.​

• Good knowledge of road networks.​

• A maximum of 6 points or less on your licence (No DR, DD, CD, or IN codes).

• Excellent command of the English language and good customer service skills.​

• Previous experience in skip and hook operations is preferred but not essential - we provide comprehensive training.​
