C&D Business Development Manager 

Job Title: C&D Business Development Manager 
Location: Hybrid role, based in Glasgow 
Salary: Competitive, based on experience 

Are you a motivated and results-driven sales professional with experience in waste operations? The NWH Group is seeking a dynamic C&D Business Development Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key role in driving business growth, securing new clients, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with a focus on waste operations. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and business growth. 

  • Monitor pricing strategies to maximize margins and profitability. 

  • Oversee contract compliance, safety regulations, and asset utilization. 

  • Liaise across departments to meet customer needs, ensuring smooth coordination between transport, finance, and other teams. 

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline management. 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the construction or waste industries. 

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written. 

  • Ability to develop professional quotations, tenders, and correspondence. 

  • Commercial awareness and a solution-based sales approach to meet customer needs. 

  • Full driving license and the ability to travel as needed. 

  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a drive to exceed expectations.

The company   

The NWH Group is a second-generation family business headquartered in Midlothian. Servicing the whole of Scotland and the north east of England from ten sites, the NWH Group’s vision is to eliminate waste by transforming it into a valuable product.   

On this journey to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Commercial & Industrial, Office, Leisure & Retail and Construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, we transport materials to our material recycling facilities where we produce and recover valuable products such as metals, cardboard, paper, washed sands, biomass for energy and animal bedding.
