The Role- Business Development Manager- Trade Waste

Location- Blaydon Tyne and Wear, Newcastle

Salary- £35,000 - £37,000 per annum plus OTE

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our team, based at our Newcastle Office.

The candidate is expected to have a proven track record in the Waste Sector, preferably trade waste.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining new business opportunities. This will contribute to the NWH Group's profitable revenue growth. The ideal candidate should be a tenacious business development professional.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Experience within a comparable industry field-based role
• A strong understanding of the Trade Waste market
• Ability to manage own time and desire to win.
• Excellent presentation, selling and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with computers
• The ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstratable success in a similar role
• An interest in sustainability and industry legislation

The company

On this journey to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Commercial & Industrial, Office, Leisure & Retail and Construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, we transport materials to our material recycling facilities where we produce and recover valuable products such as metals, cardboard, paper, washed sands, biomass for energy and animal bedding.
