On Sunday 24th April, nearly 40 thousand people took to the streets of London to participate in the 36th London Marathon, the majority of them completing the 26 mile run round the city.
However, compared to what one of our drivers here at NWH got up to last Sunday, the London Marathon seems like a Sunday Stroll in the local park.
Scott Dorward completed the 'John Muir Way Ultra Marathon,' which was organised by Foxlake Adventures, near Dunbar. The race was ran over 50km (31 miles!!) of scenic East Lothian trail routes. The next race for Scott is the Edinburgh Marathon.
Well Done Scott for this massive achievement!
