On our mission to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Leisure, Retail and construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, transporting materials to our Material recycling facilities where we produce a valuable product such as cardboard, Paper, Washed sands, Biomass for energy and animal bedding.

Due to the continuous growth of the business, we are recruiting for an experienced Waste Site Banksman to join our team based in Gourdie, Dundee. The primary purpose of this position is to co-ordinate all HGV, plant and other movement on the site in a safe and efficient manner. This is a waste site-based position, and therefore experience in this type of environment would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

This is a full-time position, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime available; paying £8.21 per hour for the first 8 hours. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 8 hours Monday to Friday, all day Saturday and double time on Sundays. Although not essential, any experience and training in forklift driving would be beneficial.

The ideal candidates will have;

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

- Experience in working in a waste site environment

- Plant machinery experience and tickets

- A good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

- An excellent command of the English language

- Good problem-solving skills
